An Ontario gang member convicted of a 2009 murder is suing the federal government for injuries he sustained during a jailhouse beating in 2013.
Awet Asfaha says he was assaulted in Kent Institution on April 30, 2013 “and suffered grievous bodily, including having his neck sliced, and psychological harm.”
