Gangster Siavash Askari turned himself in at the Vancouver Provincial Court house last week.
He was wanted for allegedly violating a court-ordered condition not to travel to B.C. after arriving in the province in October.
Askari appeared in courtroom 101 Friday and was released on $1,000 bail.
His next appearance has been scheduled at the Richmond courthouse in January.
